Find out whether your trading
actually works.

Upload a CSV from your broker. GritIQ pairs your filled orders into round trips and tells you what they returned — including the parts you would rather not hear. No signals, no picks, no backtest.

  • Your fills — not a backtest
  • 30 trades before any ratio is shown
  • PF 0.785 — our own engine, over 1,723 trades. Why we measure.

What the scorecard tells you

Six figures computed from your own filled orders, and a verdict willing to disappoint you. The numbers below are an illustration, not anyone's results.

Closed trades142
Win rate38%
Profit factor0.91
Avg per trade−$4.10
Worst losing streak9
VerdictNot working

Illustrative only. A real scorecard withholds every ratio above until 30 trades have closed, and says why.

Why it reads like that

A profit factor under 1.0 means the losses outweighed the wins. Most tools would show you the 38% figure and let you draw your own conclusion. This one names it.

The engine that produced this product scored 0.785 across 1,723 trades. Being told that plainly, early, would have been worth more than any signal.

What it will and won't tell you

Every tool in this category is vague about the second column. Being specific about it is the whole positioning.

It will
  • Tell you whether a strategy made money, and how confident that answer is
  • Separate one strategy from another, so a good setup is not hidden by a bad one
  • Show you the trades it could not read, and why
  • Say "not enough data" instead of inventing a number
  • Deliver the unflattering verdict in the same words as the good one
It won't
  • Recommend a stock, a setup, or an entry
  • Place, size, or exit a trade for you
  • Claim a strategy works because a backtest said so
  • Show you a profit figure from trades nobody took
  • Ask for your broker password, or anything that could move money

Why you can trust the numbers

Bad signals get blamed. Bad behavior is what actually wrecks accounts. GritIQ treats risk and discipline as the product, not afterthoughts.

The maths is conservative

Every figure comes from your own filled orders, and anything that cannot be computed honestly is withheld rather than estimated.

30Closed trades before a ratio appears
FIFOHow fills become round trips
  • Partial fills of one order stay distinct, so a 94-share entry is 94 shares
  • Fees and commissions come out of the result, not the marketing
  • Open positions are reported, never quietly dropped to tidy a number
  • Rows we cannot read are listed individually, with the reason

The verdict may disappoint you

A tool that only confirms what you hoped is worth nothing. This one was built after its author found that out expensively.

0.785Profit factor of our own engine
1,723Trades it took to find out
  • “Not working” is a verdict the scorecard will print
  • “Not enough data” appears instead of a figure we cannot stand behind
  • Concentration is flagged when one symbol carried the whole result
  • Nothing here is derived from a backtest, ours or anyone’s

Nothing that could place a trade

We read a file you exported. There is no broker connection and no key with order permissions, so there is nothing to leak.

A refusal to guess

Under 30 closed trades the ratios stay hidden and the reason is shown. Most tools compute them over eight.

The unflattering result still ships

If your strategy lost money the scorecard says so, in the same words it would use for a good one.

Risk protects your capital. Discipline protects your mindset. Together, they protect your future.

What you actually get

Alerts, journal, screener, backtest, coach, broker — most traders run all six in different tabs. We built one room for the lot.

Alpha

Your own filled orders, paired

Upload a CSV from your broker and we match buys to sells, first in first out, keeping partial fills apart. No account connection, no credentials, nothing that could place an order. Robinhood, E*TRADE and Webull have dedicated readers; any CSV with symbol, side, quantity, price and a date goes through the generic one.

A scorecard you did not write

Closed trades, win rate, profit factor, average per trade and worst losing streak, each computed from your own fills. Below 30 closed trades the ratios are withheld and the reason is stated.

One strategy at a time

Tag trades to a strategy and each is measured separately. A setup that works otherwise hides inside an average dragged down by one that does not.

Every rejected row, explained

Lines we cannot read are listed individually with the reason. Nothing is silently dropped.

Delete everything, instantly

One page, type DELETE, and the account and every row goes. No grace period, no retained copy.

Later

Execution, once a strategy earns it

The thing most people ask for first, and the thing we will ship last. Automating a strategy nobody has measured is a machine for losing money faster. Not available today.

Four steps, about a minute

No account linking, no permissions, and a file you already have.

01

Export a CSV

Every broker lets you download your filled orders. That file is all we need — nothing to connect.

02

We pair the fills

Buys matched to sells, first in first out, partial fills kept distinct. Anything unreadable is listed line by line.

03

Read the scorecard

What your trading actually returned, computed from your own fills — including the parts you might not want to see.

04

Separate your strategies

Tag trades to a setup and measure each on its own, so a good one is not buried inside an average.

Later — not available today

Execution, once a strategy earns it

Automating your trading is the thing people ask for first. It is deliberately the thing we ship last, and the order matters more than the feature does.

You import your fills
A strategy gets measured
Your own numbers say it works
Only then, automate it

Automating a strategy nobody has measured is a machine for losing money faster. That is not a guess: the engine behind this product returned a profit factor of 0.785 across 1,723 trades, and automating it would only have arrived at the same place sooner. Measurement is the qualifying step, not a detour around it.

Frequently asked questions

What does it actually do?

You upload a CSV of your filled orders. It pairs them into round trips and reports what your trading returned — including the parts you might not want to see.

Does it give me trade alerts or picks?

No. It does not recommend securities, generate signals, or tell you what to trade. It measures trades you have already made.

Will it place trades for me?

Not today, and that order is deliberate: automating a strategy nobody has measured accelerates a bad outcome. When your own fills show a setup works, automating it becomes reasonable — and GritIQ is how you would know.

Which brokers work?

Robinhood, E*TRADE and Webull have dedicated readers. Any CSV with symbol, side, quantity, price and a date imports through the generic reader. If yours is not recognised we are told which columns it had, so support usually arrives within a day.

Why withhold the ratios early on?

Because a ratio over a dozen trades is mostly noise, and showing it invites a decision the number cannot support. The trade count and net figure are always visible.

What if it says my strategy does not work?

Then it says so plainly. That is the product. This one was built after its own author found out the hard way.

Is it free?

Yes, during the alpha. There is no paid tier and no card to enter.

Is this financial advice?

No. GritIQ reports on trades you have already placed. It does not recommend securities or strategies, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy or sell.
